Project name: Developer for Expert Finder tool
Start: ASAP ca. 6 Monate
Role: Tool Developer
Number of working hours per week: 40
Renewal option: Yes
Location: Berlin, or Großraum Mannheim

Brief project description: Expert Finder is a tool to identify topic experts and book their time to e.g. support account executives on customer questions

Experience Level: E4 Expert (about 5-6 years of experience)

Scope of Work: * Work in a team environment to write and maintain Ruby-on-Rails code for the Expert Finder tool
* Extend application to meet new functionality requirements as needed by customers and evolving business strategies.
* Provide level-of-effort and level-of-risk estimates to management for new projects and feature requests.
* Provide infrequent, 1CTier III 1D support for customer issues.

Additional know-how: Required skills:
* Experience with Ruby and Rails3.
* Demonstrable experience creating Rails based systems for high performance and scalability.
* Experience with tuning and administering MongoDB databases.
* Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
* Knowledge of Javascript.

Desired skills:
* Experience with cutting-edge Ruby technologies a plus: we use Chef, Rack, Passenger, HTML5, CSS3
* Experience working within TDD or BDD environments.
* Experience coding to LDAP interfaces.
